Andy is an accomplished photographer based in Wanaka, New Zealand. He lives with his family on 6 ha in the Maungawera Valley.
The outdoors has played a large part of Andy’s life with many adventure pursuits, along with 25 years involvement in the tourism industry. This has allowed his passion for photography to develop into more than just a serious hobby.
His interest in photography started when aged 12, acquiring his first camera a “Lubitel” twin reflex before moving onto SLR’s in his teens and now has embraced the digital scene in recent years.
Andy mainly concentrates on commercial photography in tourism, aerial, rural, adventure and lifestyle although landscape and especially wildlife features highly on his portfolio.
Andy uses Canon camera gear and continues to increase pro accessory equipment as required.
When he is not out on assignment capturing images, or on an adventure Andy works as a commerial pilot.
Andy is a member of the New Zealand Photographic Society, the Nature Photography Society of New Zealand and Local Wanaka Camera Club.
